Haskel nitrogen boosters have been specifically designed for helicopters, and fixed wing aircraft, where a portable self-powered booster is needed for ground support. The primary application is to service high pressure on-board Nitrogen or Helium cylinders on helicopters equipped with emergency inflatable pop floats.
(Floats are Required by FAA under FAR Regulation 135.183 if flying over water beyond the point where landing would be possible if engine failed.)
Both units are lightweight, portable, weather resistant and operate in any position. Each unit comes with connecting hoses and both are ready for immediate service.
These Haskel boosters can be used to service other components needing high pressure nitrogen such as shock struts and pre-charging hydraulic accumulators.
Model AC90081 (55390-OEM) two stages boost to 5,000 PSI (379 BAR) Powered from supplied gas cylinders to take flight cylinders to 5,000 PSI from less than two standard DOT 2,200 PSI nitrogen cylinders (226 SCF each); or one 8.0 litre cylinder to 4,500 PSI nitrogen from approximately 2-1/2 DOT storage cylinders; or helium to 2,200 PSI, 215 SCF cylinder using less than two nitrogen cylinders to power the pump. Unit has adjustable auto stop pilot valve. Unit weighs 48 lbs.
Model AC90082 (17934-1-OEM) single stage boost to 2,800-3,000 PSI (193-206 BAR) flight cylinders from one standard DOT 2,200 PSI nitrogen filled cylinder (226 SCF). Use for nitrogen servicing applications. Unit has adjustable auto stop pilot valve. Unit weighs 43 lbs.

New!! Hi-Flyers can now refill their own oxygen cylinders economically, with their own AviOxyCart for personal use or for corporate aircraft. Local FBOs use this cart to provide oxygen refills too. Transfill from rented oxygen gas cylinders to your plane's onboard oxygen cylinder or to your portable O2 cylinders. When the supply pressure drops below your O2 cylinder's maximum working pressure, just start the Haskel gas booster to increase the pressure to the desired fill pressure. Haskel pump is powered by either stored nitrogen gas, regulated down to <150 PSI, or from your own electric shop compressor.
AviOxyCart even provides you a low pressure nitrogen source for pumping up struts or aircraft tires with nitrogen gas. Unit can be towed or pushed around the tarmac or your hanger. Steering handle is removable for easier storage. An aluminum treadplate equipment box rides under the cart to keep the oxygen refill hose assembly clean and ready for use. Tires are foam filled to prevent flats and have a manual wheel lock. Cylinders are not included but are optional, rather than pay a monthly or annual cylinder lease.

- Equalize the pressure between your Gas Supply cylinder(s) and your smaller other gas cylinder.
- If the desired pressure is not obtained, simply start cycling your booster to finish filling to the desired pressure. (60 cycles per minute for inert gases ... 50 cycles per minute when boosting oxygen)
- Stop the booster when the desired fill pressure is obtained.
